Dental assistants work side-by-side with dentists to examine and treat patients. In this exciting job, you will be charged with maintaining your patients' comfort. You'll also prepare patients for treatment and maintain their dental records. Most importantly, you will serve as the dentist's second set of hands, providing instruments and helping out during routine dental procedures.
Train As a Dental Assistant
Choose from one of the American Dental Association (ADA)-approved dental assisting training programs to get started today. Most programs take one year or less to complete, and provide you with a certificate upon graduation. You may also choose to benefit from on-the-job career training in dental schools, clinics, or dentists' offices.
